The HOMBAK Animal Bedding Wood Flaker Type HZT
transforms debarked roundwood into shavings for animal bedding.

Feed material:

Logs of up to 3,000 mm in length can be processed in the Wood Shaving Mill.

Mode of operation:

The wood shaving mill is continuously fed with logs during the shaving process.

Special features:

This wood shaving mill is very efficient and easy to use. The flaking knives are reground outside the machine. The cutterheads can be exchanged with freshly reground ones so that the wood shaving mill´s downtimes are minimised.
Thanks to continuous hopper filling, the material to be processed is optimally clamped, thus yielding high-quality shavings. Both the cutting depth and the feed rate can be adjusted by the operator so that shaving geometry may be varied as required.
